We have recently seen the FTSE hit a record high topping over 7500. Since then it has dropped back slightly. When it comes to investing clients are familiar with the FTSE 100 as this is often featured on the national news. However, although it may consist of the top 100 UK companies it is risky. We always suggest clients when investing spread their investments in diverse funds.
